Blue Sky is a revolutionary digital scanning and finishing wall panel system recently introduced to the market by Marlite. With this new offering, Blue Sky can digitally reproduce any finish you can imagine. Wish you could easily take a photo of something and reproduce it for your feature wall? No problem! Send in your photo and a high resolution wall panel system with beautiful, vibrant colors can be produced. For example, did your organization win an award? With Blue Sky, a beautiful high resolution image of the award can be reproduced on a wall panel in a substrate of your choice for walls that wow!

Even if you do not have a specific image in mind, Blue Sky has several standard finishes already scanned in for customers to choose from such as wood veneers, stone veneers, and many more. The scanner scans to Smithsonian level, approximately 600-800 dpi, and up to 6 inches of depth. A customer could send a pile of leaves or toys, as an example, and have them scanned and then printed to 300 dpi. This innovative, sophisticated technology allows for beautiful, unique wall panel systems and quick lead times, creating a competitive edge and improved ROI for customers.

The extraordinary flexibility of design and materials with this system are its defining feature. It is commonly used throughout education and healthcare projects to add a unique, appealing look to atriums, lobbies, locker rooms, patient rooms and reception areas.

Another Marlite interior wall panel system that is frequently utilized is the Myriad system. While both Myriad and MAP offer pre-engineered wall panels, Myriad panels are offered in translucent, transparent and opaque materials. Illumination is made easy with the Myriad system as pre-installed LED backlighting components are used to bring the wall panels to life. Myriad is often used in focal areas such as foyers, atriums, waiting rooms, reception areas and entryways to add a beautiful and unique touch. It can also be utilized to create a branded space where a company can display their logo, tagline, images and more. Translucent finishes are available in wood, wood grain, wood veneer, metal panels, high-pressure laminate (HPL), Volta™ patterns and graphic designs.

Specifications

The system consists of panel thicknesses from a minimum of 3/32” up to ¾” thick and can accommodate panel sizes up from 12” x 12” to 48” x 48”. All wall panels are engineered and fabricated based on customer specification. LED lighting is pre-installed and each panel includes a power source for immediate illumination upon installation. The panels include all molding and trim components and offer a seamless installation with few tools required with “snap-fit” framing, making panels easy to install or swap out. Myriad is available with trim options for flat surfaces.
