What was the most rewarding thing about working at SWA over the summer? Building relationships with different people.
What was the most challenging thing about working with SWA? Waking up at 5am and learning all the small details regarding the installation process.
How would you describe the culture of the company? The leadership makes time to have personal relationships with all their team members. They are very connected to everyone and all aspects of the company.
What are your career goals moving forward, and how has this internship influenced them? I am entering my freshman year of college playing football, and I am keeping all my options open. I would like to return to SWA at some point in the future to be a project manager or another role within the company. I want to give a special thanks to Andrew, Stephen, Eddie, and Dean for the opportunity to be an intern. It was a great experience for me to learn new skills. I highly recommend this internship to anyone interested in learning about the millwork and construction industries.
What lessons learned in sports did you apply in your work this summer? Everyone I worked with had a different strong suit like the different positions on a team. They helped me learn the different aspects of the job.
What professional athlete is a role model for your and why? Davonte Smith from the University of Alabama and now the Philadelphia Eagles is a big role model. He is not the biggest or strongest, but he has a lot of passion for football.

Outside of sports, what are your hobbies? Looking at cars that I can’t afford to buy.
